Day 11 Pastor Notes: Pray for Unity and peace

Peace and unity are what Jesus prayed that we will all have.  It was important to Him and it is definitely important to me.  When we are one with Christ, we can allow peace to abide.  The spirit of God gives peace and unity, and we are to cultivate it.  Blessed are the peace makers for they will be called the sons of God.  Oh how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.  This is necessary for the glory of God, and to have a positive effect on this perverted society.  Satan looks for ways to cause division in our relationships, homes, jobs, and churches.  A House divided will not stand.  Therefore, in the midst of our opposing opinions, disagreements, misunderstandings, we must seek peace that will foster unity.  When we are all on one accord, God will reveal himself in ways that we can not even imagine.
