Day 8 Pastor Notes: Pray That You Will Still Be Convincing in the Midst of Confusion

Jesus performed miracle after miracle and many still didn’t believe. Some did believe but were afraid to admit it because of the consequences of laws and tradition. Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead should have been enough to convince anyone that He was the son of God. There were religious traditions that were established based on the law from the scriptures, but Jesus came to fulfill the law. We are no longer bound under the law, but we have grace. It seems that every time Jesus was trying to convince people to believe, it was predicated on some miracle that was impossible for man to perform. I wonder how we can live our lives now that will cause others to believe. I can say this: God is still performing miracles. There may have been times in your life when you were in some impossible situations, “BUT GOD” made a way out of no way. Diagnosed today, but healed the next day. Evicted and homeless today, but shelter the next day. Are you responding to life as a Christian in a way that will convince others to believe?
