Day 1 Pastor Notes: We are Conquerors of Darkness

John 1 lets us know that Jesus is the light and His life brought light to everyone. Is your light bright enough to bring light to the darkness or is it dim from unrighteousness? We must examine ourselves daily. My biblical definition of darkness is people who don’t believe nor accept the love of God and decide to oppose the righteousness of God according to John 3:16-21. Jesus can set us free from darkness if we first believe, don’t fear, love God rather than man, and always trust God through it all. So when I understand that Jesus lives in me, I have the light that conquers all darkness and it can never be extinguished. Let’s walk in the light together.
