Day 4 Pastor Notes: Confidence Fosters a Firm Foundation. Pray for Confidence.

When we are faced with difficult circumstances and situations that may result in unfavorable results, we become uneasy and have feelings of anxiety and fear of the unknown. These are the times when we can not put our trust in the things of mere man. We can’t rely on human strength. We must turn our hearts to God who is the author and the finisher of our faith and trust him with all confidence. Remember that our hope is in God. Hope in God does not mean that you won’t have certain feelings during difficult times, but you can rest assured that God will reveal Himself in the process as His will is being done. Matthew 17:7 says, “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Keep trusting God with confidence and he will bless you every time in all that He wills for your life. It’s already done! Shout Hallelujah!
