This was very interesting to me. We know that the Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death. Then we understand that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We know the reason why Jesus went to the cross was to die in our place to pay the price for our redemption. His death paid for our past, present, and future sins. This is the interesting part. Does this mean that we get a pass to sin because what Jesus did on the cross covered all of our sins who are in Christ? When Jesus rescued the woman that was caught in adultery, He said, “Neither do I condemn you;” but the instruction was to “Go, and from now on sin no more.” We do not get a pass to sin freely. We may make mistakes sometimes. Therefore, repent and change your behavior. Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound. God forbids.
